 Mrs. Heintskill 79 passed away Wednesday July 7, 2010 at Bay Regional Medical Center following a lingering illness. She was born in Linwood on February 17, 1931 to the late Harold & Laura M (Bellor) Champagne. She married Charles Heintskill on May 2, 1953 at St. Anne Church. He survives her. She was a Registered Nurse working at Mercy Hospital and Jones Clinic and a co-owner of City Dairy, Inc. of Bay City.  June was an active member of St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church were she worked funeral luncheons, bazaars, bake sales and was a catechism teacher.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, their children Mary Jo Garcia and Edward & Jackie Heintskill; grandchildren Renee (Marty) Garcia-Sera, Jessica (Michael) Garcia-Grunwell, Sarah & Paige Heintskill; Great Grandson Colin Grunwell; 2 brothers Donald & Viola DeShano and James DeShano.  She was predeceased by a brother Guy R. Dunn, granddaughter Jennifer Garcia, a very special nephew Randy DeShano who was like a son, a step father Arthur L. DeShano and Minnie & Pippe` Noel & Rose Bellor.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday July 10, 2010 at 10 am at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church.  Rev Fr. George J. Serour and Sr. Virginia Scally SNDdeN will officiate over the funeral rites. Friends may call at the Rivertown Funeral Chapel, Kawkawlin on Thursday from 6 to 9 pm and Friday from 1 to 9 pm.  On Friday a Vigil Service will be held at 7 pm at the funeral chapel. On Saturday Mrs. Heintskill will lie in state at the church from 9 am until time of services. Those wishing an expression of sympathy are asked to consider St. Maria Goretti Church.
