Survived By: Surviving are two daughters Jeri (Frank) Hanchon, Teri Jolin, and their mother Janet Corbett; six step-children, Kathy (Paul) Morris, Patricia Gwizdala, Paul (Terri) Downey, Daniel Downey, Diane (Jeff) Seger, and Don Downey; and one sister-in-law Rita Jolin. Lee was preceded in death by his twin brother Dean Jolin and sister Janet Kwiatkowski; half-siblings Larry Dupuis and Gloria Sperry; stepchildren David and Michael (Cindy) Downey; and son-in-laws George Stopyak, Jr. and Dennis Gwizdala.
Affiliations: Lee was a member of St. Maria Goretti Parish in Bay City where he volunteered as an usher. He retired in 1987 after 35 years working at the G.M. Chevrolet Grey Iron Foundry where he apprenticed and served as a journeyman in the pattern shop and then served as supervisor for 16 years. He is a past member of the Patternmakers League of North America Union. After retirement he enjoyed wood working and selling his creations at local craft shows. He was an avid Detroit pro-sports fan and was also a fan of Wolverine football. He enjoyed and loved his 18 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews.

Leland (Lee) Gene Jolin passed away peacefully on May 3, 2017 in Kalamazoo, MI. He was born to the late William and Gladys (Berry) Jolin on October 7, 1933 in Zilwaukee, MI. Lee married Ann Marie Otto on October 1, 1987 and she predeceased him March 23, 2005. Lee was a member of St. Maria Goretti Parish in Bay City where he volunteered as an usher. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at 11 a.m. at St. Catherine of Siena Parish, 2956 East North Union Rd., Bay City, MI 48706.  Friends and family will gather prior to the Mass from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.  There will not be any visitation at the Squires Funeral Home.
