WILLIAMS, Charlotte E. – of Clio, age 84, died Monday, July 19, 2010 at her residence. Funeral services will be 10 AM Friday, July 23, 2010 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Burial will be at Crestwood Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 1-9 PM. Contributions may be made to Humane Society of Genesee County

Charlotte was born May 15, 1926 in Flint to the late George and Elizabeth (Peters) Palmateer. She married Harold Williams on September 3, 1946 in Flint. He preceded her in death on November 29, 1982. Mrs. Williams retired form Stafford & Jackson in Atlas in 1985. She then retired from Pro Clean in Grand Blanc in 1997.

Surviving are: 4 children, David (Patty) Williams of Clio, Diane (Roger) Payne of Clio, Sandi (Art) Levario of Phoeniz, AZ, Paula (John) Maser of Fenton; 10 grandchildren, David Jr. (Stefanie) Williams, Bret Williams, Robert (fiancé Stacey) Payne, Amy (Ray) Laurin, Jennifer (Rob) Streeter, Lt. Cmd. Kristin Piotrowski, Raymond (Samantha) Pietsch, Charity Barnhill, Renee (Dan) Groth and Phillip (Kelsey) Maser; 17 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandson; brother, George (Martha) Palmateer of Petosky; sister, Virginia Holt of Flint; several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by: grandson, Mark in 1997; 2 sisters, Lois Palmateer and Betty Palmateer; and an infant brother.
