            Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother joined with the angels on her journey to our Lord, Tuesday, July 20, 2010, age 69 years.

            Beatriz was born in La Sara, Texas January 25, 1941 the daughter of the late Felix and Antonia Lopez.  She moved to Michigan with her parents and family as migrants.  She married Jose Armando Espinoza November 5, 1960 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Saginaw and he survives her.  They resided in Albee Township for the past 50 years, where she was a long-time  member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Albee Township.  Beatriz worked for the Saginaw County Schools in the Head Start Program.  She worked as a recruiter with the migrant program in St. Charles.  She was a den leader with the Boy Scouts of America and she was an excellent seamstress and baker.

            In addition to her husband, Jose, Beatriz is survived by six children, Joseph (Jelluey) Espinoza, Eloyd Espinoza, Edwardo (Lisa) Espinoza, Amanda Espinoza, Gillermo Espinoza and Debrah Espinoza; thirteen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a sister, Evangelina (David) Gutierrez; three brothers, Carlos Lopez, Isaias (Mela) Lopez and Louis Lopez; a brother-in-law, Jesus (Lourdes) Espinoza and many other relatives and friends.  In addition to her parents, Beatriz was predeceased by her daughter, Baby Girl Espinoza; a daughter-in-law, Connie Fiting Espinoza; three brothers, Enrique Lopez, Benito Lopez and Apolinar and her parents-in-law, Natividad and Cleotilde Espinoza.

            The funeral liturgy will take place 11:00 Monday, July 26, 2010 at St. Mary Catholic Church, 5661 Fergus Rd., Albee Township.  Rev. Fr. Todd Arnberg will officiate with burial in St. Mary Cemetery, Albee Township.  Friends may visit with the family at W. L. Case & Company, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Saturday from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. where they may join the family for a rosary service at 7:00 p.m.; Sunday from 1:00 – 8:00 p.m. where a vigil service will take place at 7:00 p.m. and on Monday at church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the mass.  Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider a donation to the family wishes. 

            The family would like to express a special thank-you to Heartland Hospice and the staff of Healthsource of Saginaw for the loving care they showed to Beatriz.
