Day, Mrs. Lillian K., of Saginaw, Michigan, passed away Wednesday, July 21, 2010, at Covenant Medical Center-Cooper. Age 82 years. Lillian was born on September 3, 1927, in Flint, MI to the late Jacob and Katherine (Ryle) Mohr. She was married to James Eagan, Lawrence Perry and Melvin Day, all have predeceased her. Prior to her retirement, Lillian worked as a dental assistant for Dr. Richard Lehmann, DDS, for 28 years. She was a member of Resurrection Lutheran Church, having served as vice president of the AAL. Lillian enjoyed baking wedding cakes out of her home. Lillian truly loved the times she had with all of her family. She is survived by her five children and their spouses, Nancy (Gene) Barnhart, Chesaning; Walter (Mary) Eagan, Saginaw; Larry (Lynne) Eagan, Gladwin; Kay Wooderson, Gaines; Cindy (Timothy) Krause, Midland; nine grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; two step-daughters, Sandy (Jim) Parker, Freeland; Dianna (Ronald) Frost, Saginaw; four step-grandchildren; she also leaves her sister, Emma (Bonnie) Dosser, Frankenmuth; and her brothers, Harold Mohr, Midland; Ronald (Carol) Mohr, FL.; several nieces and nephews. Lillian was predeceased by her infant sister, Arlene.

Lillian’s memorial service will take place 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 24, 2010, at Resurrection Lutheran Church, 2110 Brockway. The Rev. Kathleen Basner will officiate. Private family committal will follow later in Flint Memorial Park. Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be given to Resurrection Lutheran Church.
