KINGMAN, Alton R. - Of Roscommon formerly of Mt. Morris, age 75, died suddenly Monday, August 17, 2009 at Mercy Hospital, Grayling, MI. Funeral service will be held 1pm Friday, August 21, 2009 at Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Doug Klein officiating. Burial in Flint Memorial Park. Visitation 2-8pm Thursday at the funeral home. Alton was born in Petoskey, MI on February 27, 1934. Alton was married for 43 years to Iva. He was employed with AC Spark Plug for 25 years and was a family man who loved to oil paint and his Detroit Tigers. Surviving are son, Sheldon Kingman; daughters, Shelly Kingman, Sheila (Bob) O'Donnell, Trishia (Mike) Gager and Sherri White; 15 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; Sisters, Shirley (Mike) Kruse and Delores Kingman; Several nieces and nephews; And special aunt, Jeannie Knorr.
