Our beloved father, son and nephew passed away Sunday, July 25, 2010, at the age of 40 years.

Nelson was born May 18, 1970, in Saginaw. He loved spending time with his son and together they enjoyed watching sports and NASCAR. Nelson was an avid M.S.U. and Tony Stewart fan. He enjoyed bowling, horseback riding and listening to all types of music.

 He is survived by his son Tristen; parents, Rosemary (Ted) Allen-Specht and Patrick (Janice) Allen; brothers, Patrick (Deb) Allen II and Shawn Allen; step-brother and step-sisters, Sonny Aaron (Sadie) Clements, Jolean Clements and Jenny (Danny) Voglaar; aunts, Susan Kunik and Sally Smith; and many nieces, nephews, other family members and close friends.

   Funeral services will take place at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 29, 2010, at W.L. Case & Company 5700 Dixie Hwy with burial to follow in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Albee Twp. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. and again on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
