Frankenmuth, MI

Passed away Monday July 26, 2010 at the St. Mary’s Medical Center, age 63 years.  Connie Weiss was born on November 29, 1946 in Saginaw, MI.  She was married to Donald Lindow on May 14, 1966, he survives her.   Connie was employed by Weiss Equipment for 35 years.  She was a member of St. Lorenz Lutheran Church and volunteered in many ways.  Connie helped with the annual Mission Fest for St. Lorenz Church.  She enjoyed camping with family and friends, spending time with her grandchildren, and loved the holidays – especially Christmas.

Surviving besides her husband Donald are; children, David (Ann) Lindow of Frankenmuth, Todd (Jodi) Lindow of Perrysburg, OH, Brian (Amanda) Lindow of Worthington, OH; her mother, Arlene Weiss of Frankenmuth; grandchildren, Haley, Madeline and Michael Lindow, Kallie and Cole Lindow; brothers, Alan (Sheila) Weiss of Frankenmuth, Rodney (Mary) Weiss of Frankenmuth; brothers and sisters-in-law, Charles (Darlene) Lindow, Mary Ann Lindow, Richard (Corrine) Lindow, and Kathleen (Ryan) Jaynes.

Connie was preceded in death by; her father Raymond F. Weiss, brother Lyle Weiss, and brothers and sisters-in-law, Anna (Linus) Schuster, Jack Lindow, and James Lindow.

Funeral services will take place at 10:15 A.M. Thursday July 29, 2010 at the Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth, 590 N. Franklin St. and 11:00 A.M. at St. Lorenz Lutheran Church. Rev. Dale C. Ahlschwede   will officiate with burial between services in St. Lorenz Cemetery.  Connie’s family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Wednesday from 1-8 P.M. and on Thursday from 9:15 A.M. until the time of service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to St. Lorenz Church or the Lutheran Home.
