Survived By: On July 19, 1985 he married his wife of twenty five years the former Diane Knack and she survives his passing along with two sons; David McGrath and his companion Renee Savage and Adam McGrath, one special grandson; Oliver McGrath all of Bay City, one sister; and brother-in-law; Sharlene and John Lynch, his mother-in-law; Marian Knack and two nieces; Melissa Hall and Katie Arnold. Mr. McGrath was preceded in death by his father; Leo H. McGrath, mother; Muriel Arnold, brother; Raymond Arnold, and a very special grandfather and grandmother; Charles and Vera McMahon.
Affiliations: Mr. McGrath passed away Monday morning July 26, 2010 at Bay Regional Medical Center. Age 63 years. He was born March 1, 1947 in Lowell, MA. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, retired as a safety coordinator from Michigan Sugar Co. and served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam Conflict. Leo was an avid fisherman, a motorcycle enthusiast and most of all he enjoyed spending time with his wife, his sons and his grandson.

Mr. McGrath passed away Monday morning July 26, 2010 at Bay Regional Medical Center.  Age 63 years.  He was born March 1, 1947 in Lowell, MA.  He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, retired as a safety coordinator from Michigan Sugar Co. and served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam Conflict.  Leo was an avid fisherman, a motorcycle enthusiast and most of all he enjoyed spending time with his wife, his sons and his grandson.

A Memorial Service will take place Thursday, July 29, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc..  Officiating will be Rev. William H. Allwardt.  At the request of Leo Cremation has taken place.  The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.. and on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. and until the time of services.  Memorial cards for Zion Lutheran Church will be available at the funeral home
