Age 71 years, died July 26, 2010 at Brian’s House-Bay.  He was born in Bay City to the late Richard John and Olga Mary (Knoellinger)  Klemm, Sr. on September 9, 1938.  LeRoy retired from General Motors-Powertrain after 27 years of service.  He was a U.S. Army veteran.

Surviving are 4 sons:  LeRoy (Marilyn) Klemm Jr., Randy (Connie) Klemm, Patrick (Lavonne) Klemm and Robert (Amy Gilles) Klemm, 16 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce, on November 14, 1992.  He was also preceded by a son Frederick, a great grandchild, a sister Ester Germoski and 3 brothers Robert, Richard and William Klemm.

Funeral service will be held Friday, July 30, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Penzien-Steele Funeral Home.   The Rev. David S. Ferranti will officiate and burial will follow at Elm Lawn Cemetery with Military Rites by the Bay County Veterans Council. Memorial tributes may be made to American Heart Association or American Diabetes Association.  Visiting hours will be Wednesday from 5 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m.
