Paul was preceded in death by one sister and two brothers, Martha Burrill, John and Martin Moritz.
Affiliations: Devoted father, grandfather and great-grandfather passed away Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at Heritage of Huntington, Huntington, Indiana. Age 86 years. The son of the late Martin and Hilda (Shiefer) Moritz, Paul was born November 22, 1930 in Bridgeport, Michigan. Paul graduated from Saginaw High School in 1949. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War Era. He married Barbara Kersheske on September 7, 1957. She predeceased him September 18, 2015. Paul was employed at Consumers Power Company for 35 years until his retirement in 1991. He was a member of St. Dominic Parish-Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Paul enjoyed gardening and was awarded many first place ribbons at the Saginaw County Fair. Paul was a kind and giving gentleman who was a friend to many and a stranger to no one.

 Funeral Liturgy will take place 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 16, 2017 at St. Dominic Parish, SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church , 4735 W. Michigan in Saginaw. Rev. Fr. William Taylor will officiate. Burial will take place in St. Andrew Cemetery with Military Services conducted by V.F.W. Post 1859. Friends may visit at Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church where the family will be present on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until time of Mass. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the Disabled American Veterans.
