Survived By: her son: Thomas (Paulette) Bromberg; her granddaughter: Jennifer (Steve) Lanczak; five grandsons: Randall, Jr,(special friend, Amy), Charles (special friend, Randi), Thomas, John (special friend, Chelsea), and Keith Bromberg; three great-grandchildren: Steven, and Raegan Lanczak, and Elizabeth Bromberg; two sisters: Irene (Charles) Wieland, Barbara (Andy) Lupo; her daughter-in-law: Linda Bromberg; two sisters-in-law: Doris Miller, and Patricia Bromberg.
Affiliations: Eleanor retired from Saginaw Steering Gear in 1986. She was an active member of St. Hyacinth Church where she cooked and worked at many functions. Eleanor was a former co-chairman of the funeral breakfast Group #3 and was a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Society. As a member of the Rosary Society, the Senior Citizens and the Felician Sisters Auxiliary, she often participated in praying the rosary at the local funeral homes.

Age 88 years, died Wednesday, July 28, 2010 in her home with her family by her side.  She was born May 14, 1922 to the late Casmir and Josephine (Rychlicki) Sniecinski in Bay City, Michigan.  On August 17, 1946 she married Frank Bromberg who predeceased her on September 20, 1990.  Eleanor retired from Saginaw Steering Gear in 1986.  She was an active member of St. Hyacinth Church where she cooked and worked at many functions.  Eleanor was a former co-chairman of the funeral breakfast Group #3 and was a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Society.  As a member of the Rosary Society, the Senior Citizens and the Felician Sisters Auxiliary, she often participated in praying the rosary at the local funeral homes.  In her spare time Eleanor enjoyed playing bingo and going on casino trips.

She is survived by her son:  Thomas (Paulette) Bromberg; her granddaughter:  Jennifer (Steve) Lanczak; five grandsons:  Randall, Jr,(special friend, Amy), Charles (special friend, Randi), Thomas, John (special friend, Chelsea), and Keith Bromberg; three great-grandchildren:  Steven, and Raegan Lanczak, and Elizabeth Bromberg; two sisters:  Irene (Charles) Wieland, Barbara (Andy) Lupo; her daughter-in-law:  Linda Bromberg; two sisters-in-law:  Doris Miller, and Patricia Bromberg.

Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by three children:  Nancy, Diane, and Randall Bromberg; her grandson: David Bromberg; her six brothers, and four sisters.

The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated Monday, August 2, 2010 at 10:00 am in St. Hyacinth Church.  Eleanor will lie in state in church Monday after 9:00am.  Rev. Edward J. Konieczka will preside and interment will follow in St. Stanislaus Kostka Cemetery.  Members of the Rosary Society, the Sr. Citizens, and the Felician Sisters Auxiliary will pray the rosary Sunday at 2:00 pm in the Trahan Chapel.  Memorial contributions may be directed to the St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry.  Visiting hours with the family will be Sunday from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm, with the Vigil Prayer Service at 7:00 pm in the W.
