Survived By: Surviving besides his wife Barbara he leaves five children; Thomas (Cheryl) Kelley, Beth Ann Kelley, Erin Kelley, Mary Ellen Kelley-Sweeney & her husband Mike, Daniel Kelley, five grandchildren; Tom Kelley, Ashley Jacobs, Jackson & Finn Sweeney, Tyler Long, one brother; Richard (Rose) Kelley and several nieces and nephews
Affiliations: Mr. Kelley graduated from Michigan State University in 1951 and worked for William H. Rorer Pharmaceutical Company for over 30 years before retiring. Wayne was a member of the Michigan High School Athletic Association for over 40 years where he was an umpire and a referee in football, volleyball and girls softball.

Mr. Kelley passed away Friday morning July 30, 2010 at Brian’s House age 81 years.  Son of the late Stewart & Louella (LeTourneau) Kelley he was born February 18, 1929 in Pontiac, Michigan.  He married the former Barbara LeFevre July 26, 1952 in St. Mary’s Church.  She survives him.  Mr. Kelley graduated form Michigan State University in 1951 and worked for William H. Rorer Pharmaceutical Company for over 30 years before retiring.  Wayne was a member of the Michigan High School Athletic Association for over 40 years where he was an umpire and a referee in football, volleyball and girls softball.

 

Surviving besides his wife Barbara he leaves five children; Thomas (Cheryl) Kelley, Beth Ann Kelley, Erin Kelley, Mary Ellen Kelley-Sweeney & her husband Mike, Daniel Kelley, five grandchildren; Tom Kelley, Ashley Jacobs, Jackson & Finn Sweeney, Tyler Long, one brother; Richard (Rose) Kelley and several nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by one brother; Donald Kelley.

 

A Memorial Service will take place Monday August 2, 2010 at 4:00 p.m. from the Squires Funeral Home.  Nancy Rivet will officiate.  Friends may call at the Squires Funeral Home on Monday from 1 – 4 p.m..  Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider family wishes.
