Mr. Roy Bishop
Saginaw, Michigan

Went home to be with the Lord peacefully on Thursday, July 29, 2010 at Covenant Medical Center- Cooper. Age 87 years.
He was born September 18, 1922 in Ariton, Alabama, son of the late Elijah & Mary Bishop. Mr. Bishop was a faithful member of Prayer Room Ministries. Roy retired from the Malleable Iron Plant and was a member of the U.A.W. Local # 455. He was also the owner of Bishop Trucking Company. He was a devoted husband , father and grandfather and will be sadly missed by all who loved him.

His memory will be cherished by his loving and devoted wife of 57 years, Lydia Bishop; one son, Rev. Roy W. (Buenita Z.) Bishop, Jr.; one brother Supt. Louis (Portia) Bishop; one brother-in-law and two sisters-in-law, Hoover (Sidney) Shipman 
and Lillian Bishop; also a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Mr. Bishop was predeceased by two sisters and two brothers.
