Charles 84, passed away on Monday October 30, 2017 at Carriage House of Bay City following a lingering illness.  He was born on September 4, 1933 in Bay City to the late Ross and Irene (Pellitier) Fisk.  Charles married Patricia Nicholson on August 20, 1960 in Saginaw Michigan.  She predeceased him on March 9, 2016. He was a veteran in the Korean War with serving in the US Army with the 40th Infantry.  Charles retired from CSX Railroad. He enjoyed ham radios, hunting, and fishing. He was a member of Prince of Peace- Sacred Heart Campus.

 

Surviving are his children; Velda & Alan Kowalsky, Christine Richards and Wendy & Chris Gromaski; grandchildren; Oksana Kowalsky, Jessica Lovato, Tessa McNally, Danielle Fisk, Carrie Adamets, Kendra Fisk, Sarah Umphrey, Elizabeth (Jeff Dyer) Richards, Alison Richards, Patricia Armstrong, Emily Gromaski, Christopher Gromaski, Ross Gromaski; great grandchildren Leland Burnett, Brady Lovato, Emma Znamer and Gunnar Dyer and Gage Dyer; Brother and sister, James Fisk, and Susan (Randy) Dunlop; a sister-in-law Judy Fisk ;also several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son Charles Fisk Jr, and a sister Betty Chinery and a brother Donald Fisk.

 

Funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday November 2, 2017 at Noon from Prince of Peace- Sacred Heart Campus with Rev. Fr. Nicholas F. Coffaro and Deacon Michael Arnold presiding with inurnment in St Anthony Cemetery. Family will greet friends at the church on Thursday from 9am till the time of service. Those wishing an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the wishes of the family or the Prince of Peace Parish.  A special Thank You to his daughter Christine Richards for the care given of her dad for the past years.
