Our beloved Alice passed away at home Tuesday morning October 31, 2017, age

90. She was born the daughter of the late Roman and Valeria (Kaczynski) Ryt-

lewski March 7, 1927 in Fisherville and had resided in this area all her life.

She was a lifelong member of St. Gabriel Parish (formerly St. Anthony Church)

of Fisherville where she was a member of the Rosary-Altar Society. She was a

caterer for many years, enjoyed camping, sewing, crocheting, crossword

puzzles, cooking and faithfully praying the rosary. On September 11, 1948 she

married Florian P. “Floyd” Grzegorczyk; sadly, he predeceased her on March 14,

1994. She leaves to cherish her memory 5 children: Ronald Grzegorczyk, Larry

Grzegorczyk, Sharon (Robert) Hilliard, Terry (Sally) Grzegorczyk, Steve

(Ellen) Grzegorczyk, 15 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, 1 brother,

Phillip Rytlewski, 1 sister, Romaine Rezmer, 1 son in-law, Bill Graul and 2

sisters in-law, Leona and Maureen. Alice was also welcomed home by a daughter,

Connie and 2 daughters in-law, Sandra and Sue.

 

The funeral liturgy will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Friday November 3, 2017 at

St. Gabriel Parish (West Campus-11 Mile and Midland Rds.). Rev. Fr. Thomas E.

Sutton will officiate with burial to follow in St. Anthony Cemet- ery. Alice’s

family will receive friends at the Auburn Chapel of the Cunningham-Taylor

Funeral Homes, Inc. on Thursday from 2:00-5:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m. On Friday

morning she will lie in state at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of

Mass. There will be a parish vigil service 7:00 p.m. Thursday evening at the

funeral home. For those planning an expression of sympathy, envelopes for

American Home Health and Hospice Care and the Toni & Trish House (Fisherville)

will be available. Alice’s family would like to give a special thanks to Lynne

Krancich of Almost Heaven Home Care and American Home Health and Hospice Care

for all the love, help and support they gave Alice and her family.
