  Mr. Kenneth Harry White, age 56, passed away following a brief illness on Tuesday morning, November 21, 2017 at McLaren Bay Region.  He was born on June 28, 1961 in Detroit.  Ken later moved to Hale and has resided in Auburn for the past seven years.  Ken worked for many years in aeronautical manufacturing as a machinist.  He enjoyed fishing, building and working on computers, watching movies and American Pickers and was a big sci-fi fan.  Ken took great pride in his Scottish heritage and was often researching his genealogy.

 

  On November 17, 2012 Ken married the former Margaret Ann Vink in Midland and she survives his passing along with four children, Shellie Muma of Alpena, Theresa White of Flint, Kenneth Harry White, Jr. of Auburn and Alex Vink of Auburn; 10 grandchildren, Keith (MacKenzie) Foster, Timothy Bracken, Jodie (Roderick) Price, Scott Morrow, Jayden Muma, Tiffiney White, Kayla Jordan, Kristie Jordan, James Jordan and Jessie White; six great-grandchildren, Carter, Johnny, Keiralee, Sophia, Raylee and Lincoln, and a 7th great-grandchild due in spring 2018; his mother, Carrie Lee White of Harrison; his mother-in-law, Kathleen Vink of Essexville; his six siblings and their families; and also a brother-in-law and three sisters-in-laws and their families.  Ken was preceded in death by his first wife, Linda (Webb) White; his father, Harry L. White; his father-in-law, Allen James Vink; a grandson, Justin White; his best friend, Garry White; a close uncle, Edward Baggett, as well as many other aunts and uncles.

 

  The Funeral Service will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at the Trahan Funeral Chapel.  Officiating will be Deacon Tim Hartwig.  Private inurnment will be at St. Patrick Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be directed to Make A Wish Foundation or the wishes of the family.  Visiting hours will be on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. at the Trahan Chapel.  For on-line sentiments: www.trahanfc.com
