Survived By: Surviving are her two children and their spouses, Gail and Gerhard Klemm of Bay City; and Joel and Kimberly Browne of Reese; four grandchildren and their spouses, Wendy and Rev. Jamison Hardy of McMurray, PA; Rebecca and Theodore Kaiser of Midland; Ryan Browne of Reese; and Kelly and Joshua Blondin of Reese; four great-grandchildren, Noah, Nathaniel and Naomi Hardy and Hannah Kaiser. Also surviving is her sister, Marilyn Giltrop of Saginaw. In addition to her parents and husband, Lois was predeceased by her sister, Arlene Bolf.
Affiliations: Lois was a former employee of The Saginaw County Clerk’s Office and The C&O Railroad. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Reese, its Singles Club, and worked as the Church Secretary for over 15 years.

Lois Evelyn Browne, 88, of Reese, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Wednesday, August 4, 2010, while residing at Shattuck Manor in Saginaw. The former Lois Dietrich was born March 19, 1922 in Saginaw, daughter of the late Herbert and Ida (Basner) Dietrich. She was a graduate of Arthur Hill High School. On July 27, 1943 she was married to Wylie C. Browne in Saginaw. He predeceased her August 20, 1990. Lois was a former employee of The Saginaw County Clerk’s Office and The C&O Railroad. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Reese, its Singles Club, and worked as the Church Secretary for over 15 years.

 Funeral Services will take place at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, August 7, 2010 from the Trinity Lutheran Church in Reese. Rev. Robert H. Bennett and Rev. Daniel C. Meckes will both officiate. Private Committal Services will take place later Saturday in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Saginaw with her grandson-in-law, Rev. Jamison Hardy officiating. Lois’ family will receive friends at the Ware-Smith-Woolever Funeral Home, 9940 Saginaw St. in Reese on Friday from 4-8 p.m. and at the church on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until time of services. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the Trinity Lutheran Church in Reese.
