Survived By: Earl is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Dora Bowsher of West Branch; sisters in law, Marge Bailey of Harrison, Mina (Bud) Garret of Weidman, MI, Joyce Hart of Hale, MI, Barbara Durham of Flint, MI, and Dorothy (Warren) Westrom of Plainview, NE; brothers in law, Cork (Pat) Keysor of Midland, MI, John (Carol) Keysor of Dewitt, MI and Andy Keysor of Millington, MI; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Mike and Karen Laier and families.

Earl Jack Bowsher, age 90, passed away on Sunday, January 14, 2018 at Standish Skilled Nursing in Standish, MI.  He was born on January 3, 1928 in Lima, OH to Don and Crystal (Quick) Bowsher.  Earl married Dora Keysor on November 9, 1957 in Gladwin, MI.  He was a veteran of the US Army serving in WWII.  He was a member of the Farm Bureau and the Michigan Milk Producers Association.  Earl and Dora owned and operated Bowsher Dairy Farm along with operating Bowsher Service Station with his father.  He enjoyed bowling.

 

Earl is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Dora Bowsher of West Branch; sisters in law, Marge Bailey of Harrison, Mina (Bud) Garret of Weidman, MI, Joyce Hart of Hale, MI, Barbara Durham of Flint, MI, and Dorothy (Warren) Westrom of Plainview, NE; brothers in law, Cork (Pat) Keysor of Midland, MI, John (Carol) Keysor of Dewitt, MI and Andy Keysor of Millington, MI; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Mike and Karen Laier and families.  He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Don Jr. and Joe; sister, Phyllis Bowsher and brother in law, Elmer Keysor.

 

Visitation at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.  The Funeral Service will be at the funeral home on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m.  Burial will be at Edwards Township Cemetery.  Charlie Cobb will officiate.

 

Memorial Contributions can be made to the Edwards Community Church or the Boys and Girls Club of West Branch.
