SHEATHELM, Donald H. – formerly of Clio, age 102, died Saturday, August 7, 2010 at Tendercare of Frankenmuth. Funeral services will be 1 PM Tuesday August 10, 2010 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Rev. Dr. John Bailey officiating. Entombment in Flint Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 3-7 PM where a Masonic Memorial will be held at 7 PM by the Vienna Lodge #205 F & AM, and on Tuesday from 11 AM until time of services at 1 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to the Bethany United Methodist Church or Mid-Michigan Hospice.

Donald was born March 8, 1908 in Detroit to the late Clarence and Vernah Sheathelm. He attended Ferris State University School of Pharmacy in 1927. He married Edna Ritter of Clare in August 1928. She preceded him in death in 1995. Mr. Sheathelm owned and operated Sheathelm Drug in Clio from 1940 to 1973. He was a member of Michigan Pharmacist Association, Clio Rotary, Vienna Masonic Lodge #205 F. & A.M., Elf Khurafeh Temple of Saginaw and Bethany United Methodist Church in Clio. Don loved golf, playing bridge and Life.

Surviving Donald are: sister, Donna Sheathelm of Mecosta; nieces, Jane (Bruce) McGregor of Saginaw, Arbutus (Harold) Halstead of Lansing; nephew, Kenneth (Barbara) Ritter of AR; dear friend June Gray of Frankenmuth.
