Taylor, Dorothy - of Birch Run, age 68, passed away Saturday, August 14, 2010 surrounded by her family at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center after a brief illness. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11AM Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at St. Mary Catholic Church, 11110 Saginaw St., Mt. Morris. Rev. Fr. Ray Urbanek Celebrant. Interment to follow in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Birch Run on Monday from 5-9PM, Tuesday from 1-9PM with a Rosary being prayed at 7PM and on Wednesday at the church from 10AM until the time of Mass. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to the charity of one’s choice.

Dorothy was born on April 11, 1942 in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Raymond and Edna (Brewster) Lamb. She graduated from Frankenmuth High School in 1960. Dorothy married William Taylor on May 2, 1964. She worked for Frankenmuth News as a proofreader for many years. Dorothy belonged to St. Mary Catholic Church and was a member of the Alter Society. She enjoyed cooking, baking brownies, traveling and sitting by the camp fire with her family. She cherished her grandchildren. Dorothy was a very loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be deeply missed.

Surviving are: husband, William; children, Thomas (Pam) Taylor, Deborah (Troy) Foutch; grandchildren, Michael and Matthew Foutch, Lauren and Corey Taylor; brother, Richard Lamb; close family friend, Fr.
