Passed away Friday August 20, 2010 at Covenant Medical Center-Cooper, age 85 years.   Herman was born on May 11, 1925.  He was married to Lorine Pickelman in 1949, she survives him.  He was a blacksmith and farmer throughout his life.  He was a member of St. Matthews Lutheran Church, Frankenmuth Fox Hunters and the NRA.

Surviving besides his wife Lorine are their children; Phil (Sharon) Zoellner of Frankenmuth, MI, Carol (Richard) Burk of Saginaw, MI, Kay (Steve) Raymond of Birch Run, MI, seven grandchildren; Kori (Brian) Perez and Kari (Brandon) Schmitzer, Jason, Jerrod and Joshua Burk, and Devan and Derek Raymond, five great grand children; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will take place Tuesday August 24, 2010 at 1:00 PM at the Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth; 590 N. Franklin St.  Burial will take place in Eastlawn Memorial Gardens.   Herman’s family will receive visitors on Tuesday from 10:00 AM until the time of service.  Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to a charity of their choice.
