Survived By: Loving husband of Betty Ann (LaMarr) Tyce, they would have celebrated 65 years of marriage on March 23, 2011. Devoted father of Therese Lanczak; also, cherished by four grand children Tera M. Lanczak (Wes Crumby), Savannah A. Lanczak (Jason Davies), George Brown III, Michael Brown (Teryn McDonald), and a great grand son Dominic A. Davies.
Affiliations: Rudy was a former member of St. Agnes and St. Michael’s Catholic Church, and Knights of Columbus Color Core. He enjoyed carpentry, Antiques and reading. Rudy was a wonderful man who cared about others more than he did himself. His happiest times were spent with his wife, child, grandchildren, great grandchild, and his favorite dog Lilly.

Mr. Tyce, age 84 passed away Saturday August 21, 2010 at Bay Regional Medical Center following a brief illness. He was born in Hamtramck, Michigan on October 12, 1925 to the late Rudolph Sr. & Sylvia (Skrzysinski) Tyce. Loving husband of Betty Ann (LaMarr) Tyce, they would have celebrated 65 years of marriage on March 23, 2011. Devoted father of Therese Lanczak; also, cherished by four grand children Tera M. Lanczak (Wes Crumby), Savannah A. Lanczak (Jason Davies), George Brown III, Michael Brown (Teryn McDonald), and a great grand son Dominic A. Davies.  Rudy was a former member of St. Agnes and St. Michael’s Catholic Church, and Knights of Columbus Color Core.  He enjoyed carpentry, Antiques and reading.  Rudy was a wonderful man who cared about others more than he did himself.  His happiest times were spent with his wife, child, grandchildren, great grandchild, and his favorite dog Lilly.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday August 27, 2010 at 10 am from St. Michael’s Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Joseph Miller and Mr. Gary Patelski presiding with burial in St. Agnes Cemetery.  Friends may call at the Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home on Thursday from 1 to 8 pm. A vigil service will be held Thursday evening at 7 pm at the funeral home.  On Friday Rudy will lie in state from 9 am until time of service.
