Sherin De Card, 71 of Coleman, died Wednesday evening, July 18, 2018 at the Woodland Hospice House in Mt. Pleasant. She was born June 28, 1947 in St. Joseph, MO, daughter of the late David DeSherin Wallace and Edith “Dixie” (Potteroff) Painter. As a child, she and her family moved around before settling in Midland County. She attended Meridian High School and graduated in 1965. On March 16, 1967, she married the late Richard L. Card. Sherin had a big heart and loved helping other people. Even though she may not have been able to do much, she always did what she could. Nothing gave her more joy than watching the grateful expressions on the faces of those she could help. Sherin loved spending time with her family and friends and cherished every moment she had with her grandchildren.
