Mrs. Kosick, age, 89 passed away following a lingering illness Sunday August 22, 2010 at Garden Gates.  She was born on October 6, 1920 in Standish, Michigan to the late John & Mary (Stodolak) Raynak.  She married Michael Kosick on May 11, 1941 in Standish, Michigan.   He preceded her in death on July 26, 1980.  Elizabeth was a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church and the St. Anne’s Altar Society.  She is survived by her children Edward Kosick, George (Patricia) Kosick, Elizabeth (Betty) (Gary) Hall, and Marie Salgat; grandchildren Andy, Tim, Dan, Kelly, Greg, and Christine, 7 great grandchildren; a sister Eleanor (Michael) Rattie, two brothers Paul (Bernice) Raynak and Joseph (Ercell) Raynak,  a sister in law Rosaila Koscik and several nieces and nephews.  Elizabeth was predeceased by a grandson Michael Hall and several brothers and sisters John Raynak, Alma DeForest, Frank Raynak, Baby Raynak, Albert Raynak, Mary Daniels, Bertha Mersdorf, Leonard Raynak, and Edward Raynak.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday August 28, 2010 at 10 am from St. Michael’s Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Richard Jozwiak and Mr. Gary Patelski presiding with burial in St. Michael’s Cemetery.  Friends may call at the Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home on Friday from 2 to 8 pm.  A Prayer Vigil will be held at 7 pm on Friday.  On Saturday Elizabeth will lie in state at the church from 9 am until time of service.  Those wishing an expression of sympathy are asked to consider McLaren Hospice.  The family would like to extend a thank you to Garden Gate and Hospice for the compassionate care Elizabeth and her family received.
