Crampton, Beatrice E. (Auntie), of Saginaw, Michigan, passed away on Tuesday, August 24, 2010, at Cartwright Hospice Residence. Age 97 years. Beatrice was born on April 16, 1913, in Pigeon, MI, to the late Robert and Emma (Sting) Wenzel. She was married to James E. Crampton on October 28, 1939, in Saginaw, where he predeceased her on September 16, 1997. Prior to her retirement, Bea was first employed as a sales clerk at Kresges; she then worked for 17 years at Lufkin Rule as a timekeeper. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church. Surviving are her nephew and nieces, Ken (Joyce) Laatsch; Joanne Huebner; great-nieces and great-nephews, Larry (Patti) Laatsch, Cynthia Owens, Nancy (Charles) Beach, Peggy (James) Trier, Sally (Paul) Hudeck, Charles (Debra) Huebner, Susan (Ryan) Bauer, Karen (Keith) Blazaitis, Thomas (Lori) Laatsch, Dawn (Lane) Bennett, also many great-great nieces and great-great nephews. Bea was predeceased by her sister and brother-in-law, Lavera (Henry) Laatsch; nephews, Ralph (Dorothy) Laatsch and Wilbur Huebner; and her great-nephew, Terry Laatsch. The family wishes to express their thanks to Community Village and Cartwright Hospice Residence for their loving care they gave to Bea.
