MUEHLENBECK, Russell Robert – of Birch Run, formerly of Hillman, died Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at Covenant Medical Center. He was 81 years of age. Russ was born May 18, 1929 in Caro, MI to the late Edward and Louise (Bowden) Muehlenbeck. Mr. Muehlenbeck retired from General Motors in 1993 with 32 years seniority.

Surviving are: wife of 62 years, Joyce; children, Penny Braeutigam of Birch Run, Lon Muehlenbeck of Birch Run, Paul (Victoria) Muehlenbeck of Montrose, Cynthia (Charles) Fox, Heidi Muehlenbeck of Birch Run; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Thomas (Patsy) Muehlenbeck; 2 sisters, Karen (Paul) Kelly, Grace Muehlenbeck all of Birch Run; nieces and nephews.

 


Friends may call at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Birch Run on Saturday from 11AM-8PM with a funeral service taking place at 5PM. Rev. John Manley officiating. Cremation to follow.
