Passed away on Wednesday August 25, 2010 at home. Age 92 years. she was born on October 11, 1917 in St Charles, the daughter of the late Louis and WilhSlmina (Brendahl) Mahoney.  She married Frederick ( Bud)  Lane on October 23, 1937 at St Mary’s Catholic Church, St Charles.   He preceded her in death on May 15, 1995. She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic church and the St Jude Study Club.

Surviving are six sons and seven daughters; Joe Lane,  Frederick ( Elizabeth)Lane, Edward (Emmajean)Lane, Timothy (Janice) Lane, Marie (Edward) Quaderer, Joe Lane all of Chesaning,  Joe Lane, Robert (Barbara) Lane of Cool California, William (Beverly) Lane of Mio, Catherine (Robert) Kersjes of Corunna, Loretta (Robert) Delbridge of San Antonio, Texas;  Joyce (Norman) Rushton of Burt, , Joan  Chase of Saginaw, Josephine  Rushton of Humble, Texas; Nancy (Louis) Connelly of Fort Wayne, Indiana;  37  Grandchildren,  43  Great Grandchildren; three brothers, Bernard, Edward and Lawrence Mahoney, two special care givers, Janice Emmendorfer and Diane Provost, and also special thanks to the staff of Hospice Advantage.  she was preceded in death by a daughter, patricia, four grandchildren: Norman Rushton Jr., Jeffrey Kersjes, Robert lane Jr. and Bryan Lane; three brothers and three sisters, Elmer, Donald, Fred, Bernice Oatten, Ruth Flory and Ester Martin.    

Funeral Liturgy will take place on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church , Chesaning. Burial  will be in Mt Calvary Cemetery.  Friends may call at the Walker-Martin Funeral Home, Chesaning on Monday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. and all day Tuesday, then at church on Wednesday after 9:00 a.m. Scripture service e will be 7:00 p.m. Tuesday.
