Survived By: Surviving are his beloved wife of 48 years, Dorothy "Dory" (Desonia), their children and spouses, Maryann and Alan Blakely of Houston, TX, Phil and Shari Siazik of St. Charles, Frank and Diane of Brant, Pam and Rick Williams of Caledonia; grandchildren, Brian Williams, Weston Siazik, Lucas and Leah Williams; brother, Tom Siazik and sister, Marcia and Loyd Boetcher.
Affiliations: Ron was a member of Knights of Columbus - Chesaning, American Legion - Roscommon, Wolverine Sportman's Club, Moose Lodge in Saginaw and Grayling, Polish Falcons and the Eagles.

Passed away Friday, August 27, 2010 at home surrounded by family. Age 72 years. Ron enjoyed meeting new people. He will be remembered for his outgoing personality and desire to spend time with family in Florida, Texas, Higgins Lake and traveling to a multitude of places where his friends lived. Ron was a member of Knights of Columbus – Chesaning, American Legion – Roscommon, Wolverine Sportman’s Club, Moose Lodge in Saginaw and Grayling, Polish Falcons and the Eagles. Ron enjoyed bowling, horseshoes, riding his scooters and golf. He was an avid hunter, shooting a 14 point buck in 1955 but scored in 1985 as the second largest in Saginaw county as listed in the Buck Facts magazine. He was the son of John and Betty Siazik, owners of Petrach Grocery in St. Charles. Ron retired from General Motors Steering Gear Plant 2 in 1990 and enjoyed retirement traveling with his wife Dory.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at Immaculate Conception Church, St. Charles. Fr. Todd Arnberg will officiate with cremation to follow. The family will receive visitors at Kendall Funeral Home, St. Charles on Monday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. and at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of mass. Memorials may be made to St. Charles Public Library, Hartley Outdoor Education Center or family’s wishes.
