Eugene R. Krol

Eugene R. Krol, age 75, of Pinconning passed away at Brian’s House on August 30, 2010 surrounded by his loving family.  Eugene was born on August 26, 1935 in Pinconning to the late Valentine and Josephine (Garbulinski) Krol.  Eugene was a resident of Pinconning his entire life where he worked at Northern Tube for 38 years.  He enjoyed cutting grass, gardening, playing cards, and going to the casino.  Eugene was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.  On May 18, 1957 at St. Michael’s Church in Pinconning, he married Louella Buffman, who survives him.  Also surviving are one daughter Kathy and her husband Dave Courier, two grandchildren, Ashley (Steve) Sharp and David (Jennifer) Courier, one great-grandchild Logan Courier, two sisters, Jeanie (Richard) Kaczmarek and Wanda (Eugene) Zolinski, two brothers Joe Krol (Patricia) and Raymond (Nancy) Krol, six sisters-in-law, Helen Krol, Leona (Jerry) Foco, Marcella Buffman, Mary Wagner, Sharon (Jim) Martin, and Ursula Buffman, and one brother-in-law Carl Buffman.  Preceding him in death were his siblings Norman Krol and John (Ione) Krol, 5 sisters-in-law, and 10 brothers-in-law, Ruth Buffman, Dorothy (Enos) Goodman, Howard Buffman, Harry Wagner, Art Buffman, Oliver “Jack” Buffman, Wilford (Ella) Buffman, Clarence (Lois) Buffman, Fred Buffman, Lyle Buffman, Edith Buffman, and Rich Buffman.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday September 2, 2010 at 1 pm from St. Michaels Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Richard Jozwiak and Mr. Gary Patelski presiding with burial in St. Michaels Cemetery.  Friends may call at the Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home on Wednesday from 1 to 8 pm.  A Prayer Vigil will be held at 7 pm on Wednesday.  On Thursday Eugene will lie in state at the church from 12 noon until time of service.
