 Mrs. Stasick passed away Monday evening August 30, 2010 at the Bay Regional Medical Center age 84 years.  Daughter of the late Peter & Katherine (Kazminwski) Dorkowski she was born September 10, 1925 in Milwaukee, WI.  She married Stanley Joseph Stasick.  He predeceased her in 1975.  Evelyn was a member of St. Mary’s Church.

 Surviving is one son; Stanley Anthony Stasick, three grandchildren; Stanley Joseph Stasick II, Jamie Marie (Daniel) Hogan, Melissa Marie Stasick, one great-grandson; Carson Anthony Stasick and many friends at Pine Towers.  She was predeceased by two brothers and one sister.

 Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday September 4, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. from St. Mary’s Church.  Rev. Fr. Craig Albrecht will officiate with burial in Calvary Cemetery.  Friends may call at the Squires Funeral Home on Friday from 2 – 5 & 6 – 8 p.m. and at the church on Saturday after 9:00 a.m.  There will be a parish vigil service for Evelyn at 7:00 p.m. Friday.  Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the American Cancer Society-Bay County Unit.
