      Passed away September 6, 2010 at her home.  Age 89 years.  

      She was born November 26, 1920 in San Antonio, Texas, the daughter of the late Federico C. Villanueva and Victoria Duqe.  She married Francisco W. Camarillo. He predeceased her, February 9, 1987.   She worked as a Nurse’s Aid and for Abeles Greenhouse in earlier years.  She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, crafting, gardening, and especially doing Bible Ministry for Holy Rosary Church. She was also a member of St. Joseph Guadalupe Damas Assoc.

      Surviving are a son and six daughters, Peter Camarillo; Juanita Camarillo both of Saginaw, MI; Francisca (Randall) Rathka, Utica, Michigan; Gloria (John) Bumgart, Virginia Beach; Rosa M. (Raymond) Giester, Saginaw, MI; Matilda (Armando) Barcenas, Detroit, MI; Maria (Ernesto)Reyes, Donna, Texas; 17 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a grandson, three brothers and two sisters.

     The funeral liturgy will take place at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 11, 2010, at SS. Simon and Jude Catholic Church, 2395 Outer Dr. Saginaw.  Rev. John Mancini, O.F.S.F. will officiate with burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Friends may call at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday and 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday where a vigil for the deceased will be held at 7:30 p.m. Friends may then call at the Church from 9:00 a.m. Saturday until the time of the funeral liturgy.  Mrs. Camarillo’s family wish to give a special thanks to her two caregivers, Rita Hernandez, a friend for many years and to Rachel Anaya, who’s patients helped tremendously. Words cannot express how much we the family appreciate the help.
