John Frederick Yost, Age 81, of Akron, passed away September 7, 2010 at St. Mary’s of Michigan Hospital in Saginaw. Born March 30, 1929 to the late George & Rose Elizabeth (Matt) Yost. John married Lulu Alice Carpenter February 4, 1956 at St. Agatha Catholic Church in Gagetown, MI.

John is survived by his beloved wife Lulu Alice (Carpenter) Yost.

His loving children; Margaret (Mark) Dinkel of Akron and Mark John (Erica) Yost of St. Johns.

Dearest brother to Elizabeth Bartholomy of Caro.

John was a self employed farmer and loved his John Deer Tractors. He also worked at the GM Fisher Body Plant in Flint as a fork lift driver. He retired in 1987.

Funeral services will take place Friday, September 10, 2010 at St. Agatha Catholic Church, 4618 South St., Gagetown, MI at 11am with additional visitation at the Church at 10am.

Visitation will be Thursday, September 9, 2010 from 1-9pm at Juengel & Mellendorf Funeral Home in Sebewaing, MI.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association,  the Tuscola Medical Care Facility in Caro or St. Agatha Catholic Church, Gagetown.
