Wayne H. Frick of Caro, age 86, passed away on Monday, March 18, 2019 at United Hospice Residence in Marlette. Wayne was born January 9, 1933 in Colling, the son of the late Homer and Ethel (Robinson) Frick. He graduated from Caro High School with the Class of 1952 and married his high school sweetheart, Geraldine Kozel, shortly after on November 29, 1952 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Mayville. Wayne worked for several companies following his graduation, first at a canning factory in Caro and later the Tuscola County Conservation Department. His final position was as an inspector for Universal Engineering in Frankenmuth, retiring in 1995 after more than thirty years of service. Wayne’s entire world revolved around his family. He loved watching sports, especially those his grandchildren participated in. He was happiest in nature and loved sharing that enthusiasm with the next generation. Wayne also believed that no one should be a victim of circumstance, and that each of us is the author of our destiny.
