Obituary for Doris M. McLincha of Bentley, Michigan

Doris passed away on Monday, April 11, 2011 at Hurley Medical Center in Flint, Michigan at the age of 90. She was born on July 15, 1920 in Standish to Harvey and Anna (Trombley) Cousineau. Doris married Raymond McLincha in 1935 in Standish. She was employed at the Standish Community Hospital before retiring in 1985. Doris was a member of Resurrection of the Lord Catholic Church in Standish and an area resident all of her life.

Doris is survived by her children Laura Dowd of Pinconning, Judy (David) McQuarter of Linwood, Lyle (Deb) McLincha and Sharon (Jerry) Walker both of Bentley; 21 grandchildren and many great- and great-great-grandchildren; her sister, Olive Bourdon. She was preceded by her husband Raymond, a granddaughter, three brothers Walter, George and Leo, and two sisters Mabel and Leona.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, April 15, 2011 at 11:00 am at Resurrection of the Lord Catholic Church in Standish. She will lie in state at the church from 10:00 am until service time. Friends and family may gather at the R.O. Savage Funeral Chapel on Thursday, April 14, 2011 from 11:00 am until 9:00 pm, with a prayer service at 7:30 pm. Burial will be in the Gibson Township Cemetery.
