Passed away Wednesday June 8, 2011.  Age 75 years.  John Michael Sollner was born February 4, 1936 in Saginaw to the late Michael and Mary (Johnson) Sollner.  He married Donna Craven June 9, 1956.  They shared 55 years together and she survives him.  John was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church in Hemlock.  He worked as a millwright at General Motors for 38 years before his retirement.       
Surviving besides his wife are two children, Michael Sollner of Interlochen, MI and Lori (Robin) Garner of Tampa, FL; three grandchildren, Kaylyn, Leah, and Nicholas; his siblings, Marlene (James) Richardson, Ronald (Elaine) Sollner, Maryann Frost, Carol (Robert) Brokaw, Michelle (Harry) Dukas; and many other loving family members and friends.  John was predeceased by his son, Norman Sollner.
Funeral service will take place 1:30 PM Sunday, June 12, 2011 at the Reitz Herzberg Funeral Home, 1550 S. Midland Rd. (S. M-47).  Pastor Martin Hagenow will officiate.  Friends and family are welcome to gather at the funeral home on Sunday from 10 AM until the time of service.  Memorial offerings are suggested to St. Peter Lutheran Church of Hemlock.
