Richard "Rick" A. Lamb, of Tawas City, formerly of Grand Blanc, died way before his time, with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, also known as (ALS) at his home, age 54.  Rick was born on November 19, 1956 in Genesee County to Ronald "Skip" and Janice (nee Oelfke) Lamb. Rick graduated in 1974 from Goodrich High School and married Janet Snyder in 1978.  He followed his dream and moved to the Tawas Area, where the A.L.S. took his life.  Rick had many interests in life, most specifically he enjoyed fishing, camping, annual mushrooming, and spending time at deer camp at the Jack Pine Hunt Club.  He will always be remembered for his genuine love of all people.

Rick is now survived by his loving wife, Janet, his mother-in-law, Jeanette Snyder, his cousin and best friend, Bob and Lori, and his beloved dog, Brittany.  Rick is preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Bonnie Kay, nephew, Ross Snyder, and a dog, Brittany. Per his wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be a memorial service at a later date.

Rick will be missed by all who truly knew him, and will remember his calming outlook as he would remind people that "Life is Good. Love, Peace, and Faith. God Keeps His Promise!"  Cremation arrangements are by the Buresh Funeral Home in Tawas City.  An on line guest registry is available at www.bureshfuneralhomes.com.
